The Constitution Climb - a 7.8 mile, 2,635 vertical climb, started on a time-trial basis
Where: Beautiful Orcas Island in the San Juan Islands of Washington State. The start will be at Rosario Resort and Spa with the finish at the top of Mount Constitution with a panoramic view of the northern achipelago.
When: Sunday, May 27, 2007 (Memorial Day weekend.) 8:00am will mark the start of the first rider.
How: Time trial start, staggered every 30 to 60 seconds, depending on the number of entrants.
Why: Why not? It's a gorgeous and demanding course and this is only the 3rd year for this growing event. Besides, the event benefits our friends at Orcas Recreation!
